No, Steve had a thing for Miss Moultrie, who played Miss Monneypenney in some video we made in high school. Ironically, that video was worth about one penny. Weird.

Thanks George. Did not realize who was running this show. I guess I was too caught up in the fact that I found it! I remember the English project y'all were doing and I remember the airport incident too! Showed this too my husband the other day and he laughed when he read Steve's comment - he's been on the receiving end of that look before!!

Mott, I believe you were called in the day. Nice to hear from you. Funny how little we've all seen and heard from you over the years, yet somehow Steve manages to bring you to the forefront of our thoughts quite regularly. It's as though we've all never been apart.

Meg did go out with Jeff for quite some time. Actually, Jeff's most interesting date was his 8th grade dance date! I was at Rick's house with friends for Trivial Pursuit fun and we went to pick Jeff and his date up from the dance. Rick and I had to keep from laughing when Jeff got in the car...sans date!!

Many years ago my friend and roommate Chuck and I found that fourth row center was the optimum place within most auditoriums to view most movies. Heaven knows in all of the hundreds of movies we have seen together over many years we tried just about everywhere else. In the large auditoriums the seats are a reputable distance from the screen, and the fourth row is close enough to be enveloped by the cinema experience without being so close that one’s view of the motion picture is distorted. In the smaller venues which offer smaller screens, any further back than fourth row and one may find oneself distracted by restless audience members and the occasional top hat. Death Sentence

Halfway into Death Sentence , grieving father Nick Hume, played by Kevin Bacon, leads a group of gang bangers on a rather uninspired foot chase though city streets, alleyways and a parking garage. The scene was shot in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, the location where I once shot a student film, and this was the sole reason I saw this sometimes thrilling but mostly uneven mess. Death Sentence is a riff on the Charles Bronson thriller Death Wish , but this time it’s Kevin Bacon seeking revenge against an urban drug gang for the murder of his favorite son. There are some nice moments here, and theme of what an everyman is prepared to do to avenge the brutal murder of someone he loves is worth exploring on film. But it is never completely clear how Bacon transforms himself from a white collar executive into a gun-toting vigilante.
